About Leslis – lovingly designed children’s bed linen

Our story

The idea for Leslis arose from a desire to find bed linen for our own children that was beautifully designed, of high quality and made from safe materials.

We were looking for charming designs that would delight children, and a modern aesthetic that we, as parents, would also appreciate. Just as important to us were soft fabrics, tested for harmful substances, and production in Europe. After all, we didn’t just want to create a beautiful children’s bedroom; above all, we wanted to know what our children were sleeping on every night.

But we couldn’t find exactly that, so we decided to create it ourselves. That’s how Leslis came about – our family business, which combines our love of beautiful design with a commitment to high-quality materials and responsible manufacturing.

Today we create children’s bed linen with lovingly hand-painted watercolour motifs, premium 100 per cent cotton fabrics and meticulous European manufacturing. Our designs are imaginative and child-friendly, yet crafted to blend harmoniously into a modern home.

What drives us to this day is the same idea that started it all: we create products that we would choose for our own children any day. Bed linen that feels wonderful, brings lasting joy and becomes part of those little, special moments in everyday family life – whether it’s reading aloud, cuddling or dreaming.

Premium cotton fabrics

Children’s skin is particularly sensitive – which is why, when it comes to our bed linen, we place great importance on materials that feel comfortable and are reliable for everyday use. We use high-quality cotton fabrics that feel soft against the skin and create a cosy sleeping experience.

Our materials come from supply chains in which the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 plays a key role: textiles are tested for harmful substances and must comply with defined limit values. For printing, we use water-based pigment inks and ensure that the inks and additives used meet defined requirements regarding ingredients and product safety.

Leslis thus creates a sleeping environment in which children feel at ease: soft, easy to care for and featuring designs that radiate tranquillity – for peaceful nights and sweet dreams.

At Leslis, we choose to avoid overproduction and mass-produced goods. That is why we operate on an on-demand basis for all our products: everything is made only after an order is placed. This allows us to produce to order and avoid  holding stock.

For logistics, we prioritise pragmatic, short supply chains wherever possible. For us, responsibility means designing with care, implementing thoughtfully and creating products that bring lasting joy.
