Leslis materials: satin, muslin and drill – quality you can feel

Different cotton finishes for different needs

At Leslis, we offer two main cotton fabrics for our bedding: cotton satin and cotton muslin. For our decorative cushions, we also use cotton drill with a weight of 220 g/m².

• Cotton satin: This fabric is known for its smooth feel and subtle sheen. Cotton satin is durable and retains its colour and shape even after repeated washing. It’s ideal for children’s bedding because it feels soft against the skin and helps create a comfortable sleep environment.

• Cotton muslin: Muslin is a lightweight, breathable fabric that feels especially soft. It’s ideal for babies’ and children’s sensitive skin and creates a cosy sleep setting.

• Cotton drill for decorative cushions: Our decorative cushions are made from 100% cotton drill — a robust yet pleasantly soft fabric. At 220 g/m², these cushions are comfortable, hard-wearing and long-lasting.

Why OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100?

• OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100: This certification indicates that tested textiles are checked for harmful substances and meet defined limit values. For us, it’s important that materials in direct contact with children’s skin are tested to recognised standards.

Printing: defined requirements for inks & auxiliaries

For printing, we use modern textile printing technology and work with water-based pigment inks. We also ensure that the inks and auxiliaries used meet defined requirements for ingredients and product safety.
